Blueberry French Toast Tray Bake
Take your Christmas morning to the next level with this super easy French toast bake! You can even prep this the day before so that all you need to do is bake and serve.
Tips & Tricks
- Try with any fresh berries like strawberries, raspberries or boysenberries, or use tinned fruit!
- Serve with a dusting of icing sugar and a side of whipped cream or mascarpone.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf of brioche bread
- 4 Pams Free Range Eggs
- 150ml Pams Cream
- 2 tsp Pams Vanilla Essence
- ¼ cup Pams Finest Maple Syrup + extra for serving
- 1 punnet Pams Blueberries
Method
- Layer the brioche bread into a lightly greased, shallow baking dish.
- Whisk the eggs, cream, vanilla and maple syrup together in a bowl. Pour the egg mix over the brioche bread, lifting up the layers so all surfaces are coated. Sprinkle over the blueberries. For ultimate flavour, let the bread sit and soak up the egg mixture for at least 15 minutes, or cover and place in the fridge overnight.
- Bake in the oven at 180°C for 35 – 40 minutes until golden and set. Drizzle with extra maple syrup before serving.
