Cleansing Turmeric, Ginger & Chicken Noodle Soup
This golden chicken noodle soup is packed with nutrients and goodness, perfect for boosting your family’s immunity during these chilly winter months.
Tips & Tricks
- Add some greens to your dish such as chopped bok choy or broccoli florets!
- Sprinkle over some fresh coriander or chopped spring onions, or add a drizzle of chilli oil.
Ingredients
- 2 x Pams Onions, cut in quarters
- 1 Tbsp Pams Crushed Ginger
- 1 whole Pams Garlic Bulb, cut in half horizontally
- 2 tsp Pams Ground Turmeric
- 1 packet Pams Free Range Chicken Thighs
- 1 packet Pams Hokkien Noodles
Method
- Add the onions, ginger, garlic and turmeric to a large pot with oil and fry for 2 minutes on high. Add 1 litre of water and bring to boil, before reducing the heat and simmering for 10 minutes.
- Add in the chicken thighs and poach in the turmeric broth for 10 minutes. Remove and allow to rest before slicing it thinly. Strain the broth and place back on the heat.
- Add in the noodles and sliced chicken, cook for 2 minutes until the noodles are soft. Ladle into soup bowls and serve immediately
