Italian Sausage Pasta Bake

With classic Italian flavours, this delicious pasta bake only uses fresh pasta and only one pan to make for an easy and hearty weeknight dinner that the whole family will love.

Tips & Tricks
  • Garnish with fresh basil
  • Swap the bocconcini for fresh mozzarella or any grated cheese you have on hand!

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Pams Egg Fettucine
  • 1 x 510g jar Pams Classic Tomato Pasta Sauce
  • 1 pack Pams Italian Pork Sausages
  • 1 punnet Pams Cherry Tomatoes, halved
  • 1 punnet Pams Finest Bocconcini
  • 4 Tbsp Pams Finest Basil Pesto

Method

  1. Gently pull the pasta apart and place in the bottom of a baking dish. Pour over the pasta sauce, then fill the jar with water and pour this over the pasta as well. Season generously with salt & pepper and toss to combine. Cover with foil and bake in the oven at 200°C for 15 minutes.
  2. Remove from the oven and remove the foil. Nestle the sausages on top of the saucy pasta and arrange ½ the bocconcini around them. Place back in the oven, uncovered for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove from oven and place the tomatoes on top and drizzle with olive oil. Continue cooking for a further 15 minutes.
  4. Garnish with remaining bocconcini and dollops of basil pesto.
